The CORE PoE connects directly to Voltaic CORE batteries to provide PoE+ power (IEEE802.3af/at). The injector has a low standby power consumption of 0.5W and is waterproof rated for outdoor use.
We can install 1 or 2 "bootless" Cat5 Ethernet cables on the PoE injector. These cables are UV rated and are compatible with the waterproof housing on a wide range (but not every) outdoor PoE or Ethernet device. Choose a single cable if you are just powering the PoE device. Choose two if you are connecting data between two devices such as a camera and router.
