Battery features updated Always On technology on the 2X USB-A ports. The output will not shut off even if your device is drawing low or no power. There is no low current cutoff.
To stop charging your device, double tap the Power Level Button or disconnect from the battery. To resume charging, tap the Power Level Button once.
Battery recovers into Always On mode after discharge, over-temperature and under-temperature events. Power consumption in Always On mode is approximately 7mA (26mW).
Always On is not active when charging from the USBC-PD input port on the top of the battery. Always On output is active when there is no input or when charging from the input port on the side of the battery.

Excellent choice for emergency backup use
Posted by Rebecca ShanksI purchased three of these rather than a single larger battery. I like having two backups in case one goes out. Not that one of these failing is likely. My experience with Voltaic has been that their batteries are nearly bulletproof. I took an older model with me to Peace Corps in Kenya and used it without any problems whatsoever. Now, I'm back buying more.
Also, I like the options multiple batteries give in terms of whether or not I can carry extra weight or need go lighter.
One of these will charge my Iphone X twice. -
V25-K USB battery pack with bicycle dynamo hub
Posted by Shea DevlinI bought this battery pack to serve as an intermediary between a dynamo bicycle hub and a Garmin gps. The battery pack successfully charges the Garmin. However, it did not draw any significant charge from the dynamo hub. So far I have only troubleshooted this setup on shorter rides (45 min / 3 miles), and it may be that the setup will work if I am riding for several hours. Still though, I would feel better if I could see quicker evidence of this battery pack successfully drawing charge from the Dynamo hub.
**Voltaic Comment - we are working with the manufacturer to understand why the charge rates from the dynamo are lower than expected. The battery was designed to charge efficiently from solar and there is an electrical difference between the two power sources.
