^back to topOur USB batteries included with our solar chargers will charge your iPhone at about the same rate as a standard wall charger. If the Voltaic battery and your phone are both empty, the charging rate will vary based on the size of the Voltaic solar panel, the size of the battery in your phone, and weather conditions. The sunnier, the better.

To charge your iPhone from solar, use your existing USB charging cable to connect to the USB port of any of our Voltaic power banks.
If you purchase our Arc 10W, this solar charger has an integrated USB output. For this product, you can connect directly to the USB port on the front of the folder when in direct sunlight.

Our chargers are designed to be universal. If you are charging mostly small USB devices, any of our chargers will work. If you are charging tablets, we suggest selecting a charger with a minimum of 6 Watts. For laptops, you will need a 10 Watt or greater system. See our Shop Gear page detailed selection advice.
Please note that our V50 and V75 battery packs offers dual USB charging ports, the V15 and V88 only have a single USB port.
