    I have the USB charger for my D300. I used a storage battery (like an oversized Mophie) to charge my Nikon battery. It takes longer than charging on A/C current because USB only allows 2/3 of the juice to flow into the device. BUT, it does a great job charging my battery fully. I expect this charger for my D7200 to work just as well. It is a great relief to be able to put this small charger in my pocket with a cord and storage battery and charge while we are hiking, biking or traveling without connections to exterior power.     The unit recharged the Nikon battery using the Voltaic V72 battery in under 3 hours. I am pleased with the unit.
