CORE and AxON Solar Power Systems power environmental monitoring devices, cameras, and networking equipment. They both include an integrated solar panel, waterproof battery and mounting bracket. They have key differences in solar power, battery capacity, battery chemistry, weight and monitoring capabilities. CORE is the only option for 12-volt or PoE power output and is better suited for devices with higher power draw. AxON outputs 5 volts, is smaller, lighter and less expensive and is suited for devices with low power consumption.
