Solar Panel
Posted by daniel ursittiPanel works great and Supply enough power to my device. I would suggest longer or through unit screws to attach support. The plastic nuts provide seem like they with strip if any wind moves the panel.
**Voltaic comment - we do have optional Stainless Steel mounting screws. We would also be happy to reship some postnuts if you don't feel you're getting a good connection. -
Solar for flood sensor
Posted by Green StreamGreen Stream Technologies uses the 9 watt solar panel and the universal solar panel bracket on our flood sensors. The panels are the ideal solution for our units. We deploy into remote and rugged environments and the panels have performed flawlessly. To date, not a single failure. They survived Hurricane Florence and Michael!
Keep it up Voltaic, we love your products! -
Great but not durable
Posted by FelixIt is fairly powerful and incredibly light. I don't know if it's fully waterproof, but I have not had any problems using it on rainy days. I have had this pannel for 4 months now and it worked very well up until the cable broke. It is not a part that can be changed. Therefore, I'll need to change the whole panel. This is very upsetting.
From Voltaic: Hi Felix, Thank you for sharing. We are sorry to hear about the concern with the cable, please reach out to our technical support team at support@voltaicsystems.com if you have not already. We'd love to know the application you're using these in so we can share the information with our product development team.
