Great build quality, works as expected
Posted by Rebecca ShanksI am happy with this purchase. Bought it for use in case of a power outage and/or the need to evacuate in an emergency. This is small enough to carry easily in a backpack, but also sturdy, and effective to power my battery packs and/or my iPhone.
Very pleased with Voltaic altogether. -
An excellent solar panel at a reasonable price
Posted by TCIIII purchased four of these Voltaic solar panels when they were on sale on the Sparkfun.com website during Black Friday. They work great on my dual axis solar tracker to charge my cell phone battery.

Best solar panel on the market
Posted by BoshkoBy far the best product out there. Bought a anker panel and it shut off after one cloud passed over the sun. This one stays on and even starts up again the morning after. Simple set it and forget it solution. Only problem is that it's hard to Mount without there mounting clips they should of made the screws on the back longer then a 1/8

Posted by SebastienI used this solar panel on 2 specific unsupported expeditions in the Kimberley in Australia. 34 days in 2015 and 30 days in 2016. The Kimberley is quite isolated. It means that i would not have any chance to find a plug to recharge my devices. This devices were a Sony RX100 camera, a Petzl light, a satphone Inmarsat and an i.Pod. All of them very much used. The 6W panel +V15 battery did the job perfectly to recharge them.But the USB plug is now a bit loose. So i will not use this panel on a third expedition.
